The person with a gun in their possession has a full-time job. You cannot
guess; you cannot forget. You must know how to use your firearm safely.

GENERAL INFORMATION
AND MECHANICAL CHARACTERISTICS
The BUCKWACKA, QUICSHOOTER, COMBO SERIES,
MINIWACKA & TOMWACKA are muzzleloading percussion
firearms intended for use with black powder, Black Mag 3, Pyrodex,
Triple 7 or approved substitute.
The TOMWACKA and the shotgun
barrel on the COMBO SERIES are smoothbore 12 gauge shotguns,
designed ONLY for use with LEAD SHOT (Pellet Type) payload.
The BUCKWACKA, QUICSHOOTER, MINIWACKA & COMBO
SERIES have precision rifl ed barrels and use soft lead and jacketed
projectiles encapsulated in a sabot or attached to a gas check. Conicals
or patched round balls may also be used. They do not fire conventional
cartridges, but are instead loaded from the muzzle of the barrel. They
are a BREAK-OPEN-ACTION (B-O-A) style firearm, and must be
capped by opening the action and placing a PERCUSSION source
onto the breech plug. After closing the action securely and pulling the
hammer in the AFT direction to the cocked position, only then can the
firearm be fired by pulling the trigger.

Other notable features of these MDM firearms include:
Transfer Bar
Safety System;
Internal Safety Lock so the action cannot be opened or
closed when the fi rearm has been placed in the “COCKED POSITION”;
a standard in-line ignition system utilizing a #209 shotshell primer,
resulting in magnum ignition and exceptionally fast lock time.
Our
guns are designed with a removable one piece breech plug and the
receivers are all tapped to accept standard scope ring bases, utilizing
6-48 screws and located 1/2” on centers.
Disassembly of the MDM fi rearm is easily accomplished in
seconds, and without the use of any tools.
The barreled action
can be removed from the receiver by simply unscrewing the
forearm sling stud, removing ramrod and lifting off the forearm.
Depress the receiver opening detent lever and the barrel will
rotate downward, now remove it from the receiver.
No additional
assembly is required to thoroughly clean this muzzleloader.

ASSEMBLY WILL VOID WARRANTY !
If you feel there is
a defect or the receiver assembly needs to be disassembled for
any reason, please contact the factory for assistance.
The mechanism of the MDM series firearms provide for
exceptional security against accidental discharge when properly
handled.
However, as with any other firearm, it must be used by
paying strict attention to correct safety practices, some of which
are unique to muzzleloading fi rearms.
In addition, the firearm
should be inspected frequently to assure it is functioning
properly.
